The Analyst's IDE
Inference Studio provides an integrated development environment (IDE), which enables analysts to build workflow solutions that run on best-of-breed data analysis platforms. Supported data-analysis platforms include R, CPython and IronPython.
The IDE concept, integral to Inference Studio, reduces the effort required to piece together data-analysis parts into a cohesive solution, which in turn reduces the time needed to learn a data-analysis platform. An intelligent editor and debugging environment provides instant feedback on syntax and design errors while code is being written. Thus, an increase in analyst productivity is achieved. Inference Studio incorporates a number of novel features to further increase analyst productivity:
- Task-Focused User Interface that employs graphic and operating characteristics modeled on the mature and familiar operating paradigms present in Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Office.
- Dynamically Configures to the user selected Data-Analysis Platform (e.g. R, CPython and IronPython).
- Operates on a Data-Analysis Parts Container that stores all the data-analysis parts involved in data-analysis solution in a single, readily accessible place.
- Tightly Integrated with the Inference Desktop Applications, including Inference in Word and Inference in Excel.
