Inference strikes a balance between structured decision-making and spontaneous “what if” analysis, a capacity enhanced by an intuitive and integrated collection of InterViewers.  With InterViewers, users can perform continuous ad-hoc analysis, by way of an interactive visualization platform, without sacrificing the ability to easily alternate between a structured decision process and an unstructured visual analysis.  InterViewers enable the harmonious convergence of both quantitative and qualitative decision making. 

Scripting Platform Plug-Ins allow third party scripting platforms to be leveraged, along with their associated libraries, packages and modules, in the Inference environment.  Every relevant dynamic language platform currently available, or in development, is pluggable with Inference.

Enterprise Services add powerful networked services to the Inference offering: collaboration, document management, and centralized deployment of data-analysis engines.  These robust and scalable services utilize Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
